Job Description: Aviation and Aerospace - Piloting - Flight Instructor
The Flight Instructor is responsible for providing comprehensive flight training to aspiring pilots, ensuring their competency and adherence to aviation regulations and safety procedures. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual who can effectively impart their knowledge, foster a safe learning environment, and guide students towards becoming proficient and confident pilots.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality flight instruction in accordance with established curriculum and training materials.
2. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings to ensure students understand the objectives, procedures, and safety considerations of each training session.
3. Assess student performance during flight lessons, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
4. Demonstrate and teach a wide range of flight maneuvers, techniques, and emergency procedures, ensuring students develop the necessary skills to handle different scenarios.
5. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records of training activities, and submit reports as required.
6. Conduct ground school instruction, covering topics such as aerodynamics, aviation regulations, meteorology, and navigation.
7. Stay updated with industry advancements, changes in aviation regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance instructional techniques and knowledge.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, aviation regulations, and company policies during flight operations.
9. Collaborate with other flight instructors and aviation personnel to maintain a cohesive and effective training program.
10. Provide guidance and support to students in their pursuit of flight certifications and licenses.
Qualifications:
1. Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with appropriate ratings.
2. Flight instructor certificate (CFI, CFII, and/or MEI) issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
3. Minimum of [X] years of flight instruction experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of aviation principles and procedures.
4. Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations, flight operations, and industry best practices.

10. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules and training demands.
